Marc LeBihan's education in textiles began at the prestigious tapestry factory Manufacture des Gobelins in Paris, where he worked as a weaver before becoming a designer. Gobelins supplied tapestry to the court of Louis XIV. It was here that he developed an acute appreciation for quality fabrics and the hand­made.

Marc does not follow the typical cycle of fashion. Styles are repeated or re-interpreted alongside new ones. Every collection is developed from an ongoing reflection. Fabrics are ruched, gathered, and draped in complex and often asymmetrical silhouettes.
