Worthwhile is an independent clothing shop in historic downtown Charleston, South Carolina. We support small production, independent designers who have a common philosophy of quality and longevity. Our hope is that the pieces you find in our shop will be loved and lived in for many years.
We have two stories of retail space with thoughtfully designed clothing, accessories, and objects from small ateliers as well as established brands. See a full list of our designers here.
Robben Richards opened Worthwhile in 1993 in it's original location on lower King Street. In 2022, after 29 years on King, Worthwhile relocated to a cozy and light-filled two-story building on a quiet little street just a stone's throw off the beaten path. We can be found on the corner of Magazine & Logan in the historic district of downtown Charleston.
