THE SHOP

worthwhile interior shop view

Worthwhile is an independent women's clothing shop in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. We support emerging and established "slow fashion" designers from around the globe who have a common philosophy of quality and longevity. Our hope is that the pieces you find in our shop will be loved and lived in for many years.

We have two stories of retail space with clothing, accessories, and unique & utilitarian objects. See a full list of our designers and makers here.

Robben Richards opened Worthwhile in 1993 in it's original location on lower King Street. In 2022, after 29 years on King, the shop relocated to a light-filled two-story house on a quiet corner just a few blocks away from the shops on King Street.
