Norlha Nomad Seed Scarf

Norlha Nomad Seed Scarf in Natural Yak Black and White. This soft and dense scarf is woven from 100% yak khullu. Its unique design is made using dyed black khullu in the warp and natural white yak khullu in the weft. Its extra heavy weight offers sumptuous warmth and comfort. Khullu is the ultra-fine, downy undercoat that keeps the yak insulated during harsh Tibetan winters. Each summer, the yak naturally shed this down, which is then carefully collected by hand. 

Handwoven at the Norlha Atelier in Ritoma Village, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu, China. Yak khullu sourced from local nomad cooperatives and responsibly sourced silk from Zhejiang.
