This midweight scarf is made from pure yak khullu. It features a gridded design in deep brown and grey with cropped fringing. With its narrow width, it can be wrapped around the neck whilst keeping a slender profile. A favorite among Ritoma’s local nomads, who wear these scarves year-round. Khullu is the ultra-fine, downy undercoat that keeps the yak insulated during harsh Tibetan winters. Each summer, the yak naturally shed this down, which is then carefully collected by hand.
