A shirt jacket style with a raglan sleeve cut from a blend of wool, cotton, silk, and camel hair. This shirt features a small pointed collar, flat black buttons down the front, and a tapered and cuffed sleeve. A lengthy gusset that runs from the sleeve cuff to the hemline creates a more relaxed and unique shape. There are front pockets hidden along the gusset seam. Unlined.

MITTAN – founded in 2013 in Osaka, Japan – strongly opposes the attitude shift toward clothing that has happened in the last several decades. Garments that were damaged used to be mended or re-fashioned for another purpose. Clothing has become distant to us both materially and spiritually, and MITTAN aims to return it to a place of importance and long use. As a practice, MITTAN uses natural materials, they are transparent with their production methods and sources, and also offer highly tenchical mending and re-dying of used garments to prevent items from being cast aside. They are now based in Kyoto.
