A relaxed trouser in wool and cotton in a deep navy color that has the appearance of a dark denim. This trouser has an elasticated waist with an interior drawstring, concealed front zipper, a roomy leg that gently tapers with a cropped length, side pockets, and back pockets that are hidden along the seam that runs horizontally.

MITTAN – founded in 2013 in Osaka, Japan – strongly opposes the attitude shift toward clothing that has happened in the last several decades. Garments that were damaged used to be mended or re-fashioned for another purpose. Clothing has become distant to us both materially and spiritually, and MITTAN aims to return it to a place of importance and long use. As a practice, MITTAN uses natural materials, they are transparent with their production methods and sources, and also offer highly tenchical mending and re-dying of used garments to prevent items from being cast aside. They are now based in Kyoto.
