Self-taught jewellery artisan Takayoshi Yamanami launched Detaj in the mid 90s in Osaka, Japan. The designer uses sterling silver and mixed metals, focusing on shape, texture, and craftsmanship rather than decorative elements. His designs are notable for their simplicity—clean lines, mechanical details, and a bit of asymmetry—creating pieces that are both subtle and bold. A designer true to the nature of crafting solely by hand, all pieces are made in his Osaka workshop.
