Based outside of London in East Sussex, Elena Dawson works from a dress form in her studio to create shapes influenced by history and the traditional craft of tailoring. Working in very limited quantities, Elena creates garments from natural fibers and heritage textiles with an appreciation for the character that develops through wear and tear. Inspired by her time working as a tailor, her finished garments often have an "unfinished" air to them, seemingly in a state of semi-deconstruction. 

Before launching her own line, she worked closely with Paul Harnden to establish Paul Harnden Clothiers. Like Harnden, she prefers to work with only a handful of retailers worldwide.
